On the racing front once again the rider of the week was Martin Delves , storming round the Crow Hill course to take a win the sports class of the National series and with it wrap up the overall title with one round still to go ! Checked the race result for last weeks Ratz Rampage and Kim Hurst clocked up anther win so well done to her,on the road front it was good to see Paul Crook back in the bunch and going well as well finishing leading club rider in 6th whilst I managed 9th with Mark B and Sam also finishing in the big bunch sprint.

On the racing front not sure if anyone competed in the Ratz Rampage if you did let me know how you got on. There was 3 of us at the Hillingdon cct for the Tuesday night racing, no great results but once again Mark Baxter was prominent animating the race and I took 3rd , in the 3rd cat class. Remember they do have a separate 4th cat race as well as the E/1/2/3 event so why not give the race a try it will help the MTB race speed and is good training.... [read more]

On the racing front it was the local Lotts Wood event on Wednesday for a number from the club with a mixture of good performances and bad luck for club riders, winning the Fun ladies was Emma and it looked like it would have been a close run race between her and Ceri until a puncture ruined Ceri's ride,Gill Sene took advantage of Ceri's misfortune to move up to the final podium spot in 3rd, in the fun men's race Ben Aldridge showed he is returning to form with a... Once again its Martin Delves who gets the plaudits on the racing front with another great performance at Margham Park as he took yet another win riding in the National Series sports race clocking up some very impressive lap times, other riders enjoying the Sunshine included Stefano 43rd in the masters, Nick Evans 23rd Expert, Martin Turton 13th Youth, James Poole 24th Sports, Malin 6th Masters and Paolo 16th in the open event.
